Kenyan police and other security agencies in Kenya are investigating circumstances under which three armed robbers stormed Nakuru-based gospel radio station Mwinjoyo FM studios while on air, on Thursday night,May 11,2023.
The presenters of Mwinjoyo FM were going on with their show when the robbers wearing masks stormed the studios, and ordered them to switch off the transmission and lie on the floor.
“Zima hio kitu. Zima haraka! (Switch off that thing. Switch it off quickly!),” ordered one of the robbers as his accomplices proceeded to ransack the studio.”
In a video widely shared on social media, The thugs then proceed to query the presenters on whether there is somebody else in the premises, presumably at an office upstairs, and whether there are CCTV cameras installed.
