Mr. Mulema e’Mulema, a self-styled Father/King of Bachwezi is currently leading 1000s of followers from different parts of Uganda, East Africa and other areas to establish strong bases locally known as “EBIGABIRO” across western Uganda.
History has it that about 2000 years ago, the Bachwezi or Chwezi people disappeared either in Lake Tanganyika or River Wamala following an attack by the Luo at the time they were battling diseases and famine. Chwezi dynasty reigned at Bigo bya mugyenyi between 1000-1500AD.
Mulema e’Mulema says Bachwezi never disappeared and this is the time for the current generation to understand and play their part, for the next generation not to suffer.
INSIDE THE BASES: Since 2019, Bashir Mulema has set up and opened bases (EBIGABIRO) in Birembo Kamwenge district, Buremba Kazo district, Sanga Kiruhura district and others in Isingiro, Kabale and other parts of western Uganda. Strong networks have also been established in Rwanda and other parts of Africa where he has 1000s of followers.
“It is our role as Africans to restore and protect our culture, tradition and beliefs”, Mulema emphasized.
On 30th December 2022 – 1st January 2023, Mulema was joined by 1000s of people during an activity to handover a drum to “Abahinda from Buganda”, an act he said it is another move to restore Bachwezi Dynasty and African culture or beliefs and tradition by linking Buganda and Ankole since Ankole is Bachwezi’s base. These bases are also acting as praying centres where people with different issues go to pray for healing,and every base has a leader.
