The Blue Community Network has officially designated and welcomed another partner in Africa, Rise Communities Africa-RISECOM from Uganda.
RISECOM – RISE COMMUNITIES AFRICA is a non-profit entity, addressing community challenges in Uganda through different interventions, through community and media centered approaches.
The Blue Community Network is a global water justice movement launched in 2011 by Canadian activist Dr. Maude Barlow and the Council of Canadians. It unites municipalities, universities, schools, NGOs, and faith-based organizations that advocate for water as a fundamental human right rather than a tradable commodity.
