The Media fraternity in Masindi district has this morning been engulfed with grief after saddening news of their colleague’s death.
Gerald Aseera, a journalist attached to Kings Broadcasting Services-Kings FM 93.6 Masindi was shot dead on the night of Tuesday 31st May 2022 by a private security guard in Masindi town.
‘’Aseera was shot dead last night by a private security guard, he was just moving in town, and the guard suspected him to be a thief, and ended up shooting him in the chest,’’ fellow worker said.
Aseera was later rushed to Masindi district general hospital for medical attention but unfortunately he passed on shortly. By press time, police and other relevant authorities had intervened.
